Reception hours

Asanas, chanting and meeting new people are all part of the practice here. You will be introduced to a handful of students who you can learn from as well as get into some local customs that may differ from what you’re used to.

These meetings usually happen at either early morning or late evening depending upon which teacher is available. There are no set times for this, it depends on each instructor.

Students typically arrive between 8am and 10am, after having breakfast. This gives everyone around 7hrs to sleep in and start their day.

Some students prefer to wake up before sunrise, but if you don’t want to do that, then don’t!

After breakfast, they have class with the guide until about noon when they break for lunch (usually around 1pm). Then there’s school club where they relax and socialize before heading out around 5pm.

On weekdays, there’s more chatting and getting to know one another till about 6pm, then homework time starts until evenings take a turn towards relaxation again. On weekends, we enjoy a short trip or visit to other areas within Rishikesh.

Daytime hours

The time you spend preparing for work is called your daytime period. This can be any amount of time ranging from an hour to several hours.

During this time, do your easiest job searching or reading about interviews and learning how to improve your skills. You will also have opportunities to connect with other businesses and professionals at conferences, events, and online communities.

Only use these hours to prepare yourself for employment. If you are not able to find employment through networking, put your energy there.

It’s better to devote more time to working than trying to maintain a safety net. Your safety net consists of all the things you need to take care of before going out into the workforce.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a big budget or current experience; most jobs require hard work and confidence to make them successful. These qualities take work but it can be done.

The hardest part of the career search process is realizing what you want and knowing where to go next. By taking surveys and looking through profiles, you’ll learn helpful information that will help you move forward.

By creating profiles and finding profiles of companies that offer assistance in helping you get employed, you’re being proactive by discovering topics that interest you and ways to get hired. Once you’ve got a foot in the door, they’ll hire you.

Practice hours

As mentioned above, one of the biggest differences between traditional yoga teacher training programs and online yoga teaching courses is the amount of time you will practice yoga.

Many traditional yoga instructor programs (both public and private) require students to attend for at least several months which involves weekly classes and community participation.

While this is important for building confidence and skills, it is also an opportunity to connect with others who may be practicing the same style of yoga. More often than not, learning through repetition helps develop sense of identity and connection.

The internet has made world communication much easier! But technology can also distract you so we recommend working extra time to dedicate to your practice.

At Ayima, we believe in quality over quantity. There are many blogs and websites that offer tips and advice on how to become a better yogi, but few that provide education and training for aspiring teachers.

We strive to give our students more in-depth knowledge about yoga and help them understand its philosophy and mechanics to further guide their growth as practitioners and educators.

Getting into shape is hard work, and taking a yoga class or two every week isn’t going to make the process any faster.

Recognizing that you need balance in your life is a big part of becoming a good student and partner with practice and exercise.

Practice time

After learning about asanas (yoga poses), safety guidelines, you are now going to practice them! Here is where your knowledge and training will pay off.

There are two different ways to learn how to pose as yoga may not be commonly practiced in your country or community. One way is through a live class led by an experienced teacher here in rishikesh.

The other way is via a video seminar taught by one of our certified anatomy educators.

Either way is fine. Both can help you build confidence so you can start practicing at home.

But having that special person there to guide you is especially helpful if you’re new to yoga. You will get to know both traditional yoga practices as well as teachers guidance.

It also helps students who aren’t local to rishikesh have access to this life changing experience.

More information on each option below.

Practice Time

Yogis who trained in india typically spend 6-12 months living in rishikesh for their spiritual practice. During that period they take classes daily with guides called gurus. They sleep in dorms set up for many like minded people from all over the world.

They devote most waking hours to reading and studying basic texts related to yoga. These are quite lengthy, often several pages, which makes it go beyond just listening to a lecture.

Rather, it is a matter

Practice times

Asana, the company that developed this practice, defines yoga as “a collection of exercises, poses and habits to improve your life.” It is more than just a fitness regime; it is also a way of living.

As part of our training, we practiced mindfulness practices where we focused on sensory experiences such as breathing, body sensations and feelings, thinking thoughts but not being dominated by them. We also did meditation sessions which taught us to relax the mind and body.

We trained with Pranavananda, an ancient technique for teaching yoga to children or adults, which helps you build flexibility and strength. The entire process helped us realize what needs to be improved upon and how each class should look like.

After getting trained, we combined all these classes into one place so people could go at their own pace. When they came out the other side, they had new skills and knowledge to bring to the table!

Practicing meditation

There are many different ways to practice meditation. They all work on you physically and mentally. Most types of mediation focus on stilling the mind. This means that your mind will be focused on something external, such as breathing or sounds.

The intention behind stopping the mind is to stop thinking, not force yourself to do nothing. By being consciously aware of how your mind is functioning, Meditation teaches you how to control it.

Practices such as mindfulness (the effort to pay attention to what you are doing) and patience (the effort to wait without action) are very useful for everyday life. Meditations help you quiet the noise in your head and gain self-control.

Within meditative practices there are often efforts to calm down the body through various forms of yoga. Stillness helps you release stress and tension from both the physical and mental aspects of living.

In addition to benefits for the health of body, practicing meditation also has extensive benefits for the health of the mind. The more time you spend learning this habit, the better you will get at it. You will find that you become more comfortable with silence and solitude because of it.

You will learn to live with less thought so you can concentrate more fully on whatever you want to do. You will understand things here and now more clearly, and you will have higher levels of awareness while being able to handle them more effectively.

These are some of the features that

Caring for the environment

Much has been said about the health benefits of yoga, but very little is mentioned about its environmental benefits. From the washing of clothes to the choice of foods we eat, how much energy we use to power our appliances, what types of lighting we choose, etc., are all factors that can have an impact on the environment.

By choosing products that are environmentally friendly, you will be taking care of your body while also caring for the environment. There are several companies that make eco-friendly cosmetics, cleaning agents, and personal accessories.

Here are some ways that you can help save the world we live in.

Let’s talk about food first! By changing one small thing about how you feed yourself, you can start with a larger change and feel more compelled to keep doing it.

Start by buying organic foods when possible. It may seem insignificant, but it IS significant because at least there is something not being injected with pesticide or fertilizer.

There are many things that you can buy that are certified organic, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Animals produced domestically are marked “certified organic” if they fulfill federal standards of practice.

In addition to quality concerns, pesticides and hormones were banned from most crops years ago. So unless you find soy or wheat fields infested with weeds, don’t worry about them.

Instead, focus on items like dried beans, peas

Keeping the studio clean

‘Keeping the studio or your home practice space tidy’ is arguably the most overlooked aspect of practicing yoga.

Yoga becomes more enjoyable when you have a spot that feels authentic to you, so don’t worry about all the trappings and accessories.

What I teach for yoga certification is an eight-hour morning cycle consisting of reiki therapy, breathing exercises, and yogic meditation, followed by lunch and some free time until evening cycling begins.

Cycling usually consists of reiki, cooking classes, massage, and various other relaxing activities. It also includes a lot of social interaction, so even if you aren’t familiar with meeting people, it helps you network.

The entire trip is six days long, from beginning to end. On day one, we start with breathing techniques, then move onto arm balances, back bends, and finishing with leg swings and knee drops.

Practice makes progress, so being consistent in your practice is key to growth. We stop for half a hour between cycles to let your body recover.

Each cycle lasts anywhere from five to ten hours, depending on how much rest you get.

Although this may seem like a lengthy process, what everyone really focuses on in the end is completion of the training course material. After knowing how much effort you put into the class, someone else will take care of the details for you! [title] Focus on your breath throughout
