Realize your potential

There are many reasons why you should choose to train with us for a short duration of time (typically between 3-6 months).

Among them is that we develop all the skills required to teach yoga. Including mastering/practicing correctly, finding joy in teaching a beautiful practice, and achieving confidence through repeat practicing these moves.

We also work hard to align our students’ bodies and minds so they can achieve their best performance while completing a 200 hour training program.

It takes a lot of energy to maintain poor posture and run from one side of the room to the other trying to get people ready, focused, and aligned. We take those extra steps to make sure everyone is doing it right and avoid making anyone feel insecure about their practice.

That kind of effort will pay off when someone walks away feeling confident in their ability to perform yoga poses. You do not have to be an expert to participate in this lifestyle.

Everyone has different levels of awareness, learning styles, and understanding what practices help them move forward. The amazing thing about yoga is there is no single way to perform any pose.

There are hundreds of types of yoga, and thousands of variations within each type. Yours just needs to find its own flow.

Finding out what works for you requires introspection and experimentation. I cannot think of a better place to experiment than with my community of teachers at iYoga. To connect with others who

With just 18 days left for the training, I still receive many questions about yoga from people who want to know more about it.

In this article, I will answer some of these questions and provide anyone interested with an overview of what taking a yoga class is like.

I will also share my experiences as a student at The School of Exponential Living's 200-hour certification program, so you can compare the approach of traditional yoga classes with that of our intensive version.

What is the difference between practicing yoga once a week and practicing every day?

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course In Dharamshala

Practicing every day vs. once a week has been the question of many teachers i talk to. Both practices yield results, but practicing twice a week sets your progress apart from others.

You are less likely to fall out of balance and have gaps in your knowledge base when you practice weekly. Also, studies show that we learn things memorizing them and then explaining them back to us later; we tend to do better with exercises that require us to think something up instead of repeating it back to ourselves.

So if you only consider doing one set of your exercises each week, choose the one that works best for you. You can change it up depending on how your lessons go.

Art of living

The Art Of Living Retreat is a program that was created to help people overcome any obstacle they may be facing in their life. Created by Paramhamsa Yogananda, an Indian yogi who returned to his home country only for this purpose, it has successfully conducted over 1,000 retreats in many different locations around the world.

This four-day experience focuses on mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and community building. Participants can enjoy all things art related, such as painting, music, photography, and writing. Among other things, you will learn how to use artistic skills to achieve mindful awareness.

You will also have time to practice yoga, relax, and attend lectures from expert artists. You will meet fellow participants, and live with them in a house managed by trained staff.

The location consists of several large houses located next to each other along the hillside above Dharamsala, South India. Each room belongs to one of the participating organizations or “houses”. This way, everyone has a sense of ownership for what takes place during the retreat.

Facilitators lead activities throughout the day and night. Some events are organized daily, while others are put on every third or fourth day depending upon group needs.

Any obstacles or difficulties you run into in your personal journey are respected and honored by your colleagues. They come from diverse backgrounds and professions and work together to help each other get past challenges.

Discover the beauty of nature

Did you know that Himalayan villages are surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest? Or that your yoga teacher training might take you to an island off the coast of Croatia, where you’ll get to practice with sea turtles, dolphins and spectacular ocean views?

These are all examples of natural paradise available to you during your study abroad program.

Whether you choose to incorporate exotic locales into your meditation practice or organize group outings to historic sites or cultural museums, there is so much opportunity for deep relaxation and connection through daily life in a new environment.

And since both teachers and students can explore unusual destinations, travel costs are very low.

Enjoy the benefits of being in the wilderness

There are many reasons why spending time in the wild is a good idea for improving your mental health. First, contact with the natural world has been shown to be very beneficial to overall well-being.

Experiencing nature can lead to decreased anxiety, depression, stress, and pain. Second, participating in outdoor activities helps you gain socialization skills. You will learn things like how to prepare food, live with less, sleep out under the stars, and handle any other kind of situation that you face outside.

These abilities come from experience and learning new tricks in your environment. By choosing destinations for your yoga retreat, you can make it more fun by choosing places that allow you to practice some type of activity.

For example, instead of having another person pay for you to go skiing or rock climbing, try doing these yourself for a change. Learn how to do basic tasks such as fixing your bicycle or taking showers without help.

By trying something new and pushing your limits, you’ll have an exciting experience. Additionally, all types of hobbies require you to put in effort and work at a pace that is comfortable for you. It's part of the fun in pursuing anything.
